Wet lamination is a processing method in which a water-soluble or emulsion-based adhesive (an adhesive in which resin particles are uniformly dispersed in water) is applied to a substrate. After bonding it with another material, the adhesive is cured through heating and drying.
At Sanyo Kakoshi, this process is mainly used for the production of aluminum glass cloth. Because a thin and uniform adhesive layer can be formed, the resulting products combine the heat-shielding properties of aluminum with the strength of glass cloth.
